Six Firms Win Spots on $100M Navy Construction Contract

Six com­pa­nies have secured spots on a poten­tial five-year, $99.9M con­tract from the U.S. Navy to build, repair, alter or ren­o­vate facil­i­ties at mul­ti­ple gov­ern­ment instal­la­tions locat­ed in the San Diego met­ro­pol­i­tan area.

Naval Facilities Engineering Command received 38 pro­pos­als for the mul­ti­ple-award, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract via a small busi­ness set-aside bid­ding process, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Contractors will com­pete for task orders to sup­port com­mer­cial and insti­tu­tion­al build­ing projects within Marine Corps Air Station Miramar as well as Naval Bases Coronado, Point Loma and San Diego.

The ser­vice branch oblig­at­ed 30K in fiscal 2020 oper­a­tions and main­te­nance funds at the time of award.

The IDIQ, which has two base years and one three-year option, runs through February 2025.

  • Bristol Design Build Services
