Six Firms Win Spots on $100M Navy Construction Contract
Six companies have secured spots on a potential five-year, $99.9M contract from the U.S. Navy to build, repair, alter or renovate facilities at multiple government installations located in the San Diego metropolitan area.
Naval Facilities Engineering Command received 38 proposals for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a small business set-aside bidding process, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Contractors will compete for task orders to support commercial and institutional building projects within Marine Corps Air Station Miramar as well as Naval Bases Coronado, Point Loma and San Diego.
The service branch obligated 30K in fiscal 2020 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
The IDIQ, which has two base years and one three-year option, runs through February 2025.
