Romania Cleared to Buy Naval Strike Missile Coastal Defense Systems

The U.S. gov­ern­ment has given the clear­ance for Romania to buy two sets of Naval Strike Missile (NSM) Coastal Defense Systems (CDS).

The Foreign Military Sales pack­age includes 10 Link-16 Multifunctional Information Distribution System – Joint Tactical Radio Systems (MIDS-JTRS) ter­mi­nals.

Raytheon Missile and Defense is the prime con­trac­tor.
