Dr. Hoffman previously taught intelligence studies courses at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He has seven years of experience in competitive intelligence and 30 years of experience as a human intelligence practitioner in the U.S. intelligence community.

He has an M.S. in Intelligence Studies from the Defense Intelligence University, an M.A. in Asian Studies (Chinese) from the University of Michigan, a B.A. from Lawrence University, and active certifications as a Certified Supply Chain Professional and Project Management Professional.

During ArchIntel’s AI in Competitive Intelligence Virtual Event, Dr. Hoffman will address how to remain competitive. AchIntel’s first event will analyze the competitive landscape as technology continues to evolve.

Artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and big data have transformed how businesses conduct competitive intelligence (CI) and how stakeholders integrate analyses into market practices. The federal government has also integrated emerging technologies to maintain its competitive advantage across the defense landscape.

As competition rises across the public and private sectors, it is critical that businesses adapt to the shifting market. The notable leaders featured during ArchIntel’s virtual event will dissect how businesses can maintain a competitive advantage through integrating emerging technologies into their organizations and offerings.

August Jackson, senior director of Market and Competitive Intelligence with Deltek, will be featured as a keynote speaker during ArchIntel’s AI in Competitive Intelligence Virtual Event. After his address, Jackson will moderate the expert panel.
