Corinth Pipeworks Wins Contract to Supply Steel Pipes for Gustorzyn – Wronow Gas Pipeline
A polish gas transmission operator GAZ-SYSTEM SA awarded Corinth Pipeworks a contract to supply enough steel pipes for the Gustorzyn – Wronow gas pipeline. The project will involve 80 kilometers of coated steel pipelines.
The Corinth Pipeworks project proposal won the contract amidst the international and local competitors since its project proved more advantageous than other companies’ proposals.
The company’s project is valued at about PLN 217,192,029.00, including quantity and transport tolerance (ca. EUR 47 million).
The project aims to build a high-pressure pipeline connecting Gustorzyn to Wronow, boosting the transmission of a higher volume of gas to Warsaw, Lodz agglomerations, Radom, and its surroundings and extending to Poland’s southeastern regions.
According to reports, the manufacturing and coating of the steel pipes will be done in Corinth Pipework’s facilities in Greece, with deliveries to Poland scheduled to take place between April and August 2022.
