Accenture to Buy N3, Enhances Its AI-Powered Insights Into B2B Sales

Accenture is now all set to acquire the N3, an Atlanta based tech­nol­o­gy-driven sales and demand gen­er­a­tion firm that enables the cus­tomer to drive sales growth in a vir­tu­al envi­ron­ment.

The finan­cial details of the trans­ac­tion were not dis­closed.

Atlanta head­quar­tered N3 is found­ed by Jeff Laue in the year 2004. The com­pa­ny lever­ages its spe­cial­ized sales talent in seg­ments like 5G net­works, cloud, and soft­ware plat­forms. The team is pow­ered by the cloud-based, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tech­nol­o­gy that enables effi­cient cus­tomer inter­ac­tions and sales con­ver­sions.

Manish Sharma, group chief exec­u­tive of Accenture Operations, said, “Increasingly, B2B buyers expect the same ‘Amazon-like’ inter­ac­tions they expe­ri­ence as con­sumers when pur­chas­ing far more com­plex ser­vices — a trend that’s only accel­er­at­ed in the cur­rent pan­dem­ic. N3 pro­vides the per­fect com­bi­na­tion of skilled talent and tech­nol­o­gy to remove bar­ri­ers and better influ­ence pur­chas­ing deci­sions at crit­i­cal stages.”
Jeff Laue, founder and chief exec­u­tive offi­cer of N3, said, “We were drawn to Accenture, in large part, due to the growth oppor­tu­ni­ty– as far as devel­op­ing talent, advanc­ing capa­bil­i­ties and join­ing a com­pa­ny with strengths and values that com­ple­ment our own. Together, our capa­bil­i­ties pro­vide a dif­fer­en­ti­at­ed, data-driven approach that com­pa­nies can use to sharp­en their sales focus and deliv­er on the ambi­tion of sus­tain­able growth.”

Accenture’s N3 acquisition

The firm now serves lead­ing brands such as SAP, Microsoft, and Cisco. The acqui­si­tion of N3 will add around 2200 employ­ees to Accenture across the globe, along with the AI and ML capa­bil­i­ties. 

With the Accenture SynOps plat­form, these com­bined capa­bil­i­ties could offer a cus­tomer the abil­i­ty to aggre­gate mil­lions of inter­ac­tion points into some of the action­able insights that help to expand and drive sales growth.

Accenture recent­ly launched its ‘Cloud First’ group with 3 Billion in invest­ment. The group will accel­er­ate the dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion of busi­ness­es by becom­ing ‘cloud-first’.
